Big Law is an expression often used to refer to the very large law firms that provide legal services to large business corporations, financial institutions, governments, and high-net-worth individuals. Their legal services include representing the wide ranging interests of their clients in matters involving securities, mergers, acquisitions, intellectual property, complex litigation, regulatory matters, government and international matters. They usually have large numbers of lawyers that practice in the different specialties and a sizeable support staff.
