Daniel  Crupain is a lawyer with many years of experience in a wide range of legal practice areas including accident and personal injury cases, criminal defense cases and complex litigation. He has tried cases involving Personal Injury, Criminal Defense Law, Contracts, U.S. Patent related matters, and cases involving other Complex Litigation. He has tried cases in both the state and federal courts. He obtained the historically largest ratio of punitive damages to general damages at the time in a federal trial.

Mr. Crupain’s earlier experience includes his service as a United States Patent Examiner in the United States Patent Office in Washington, D. C. adjudicating matters involving complex machinery and chemical reactions and compositions. He has both an Engineering degree and a Law degree having attended law school at American University, where he had the honor of being appointed to the Law Review.

Once admitted to practice law, he became a Criminal Defense lawyer in the Public Defender’s office of the Legal Aid Society in the City New York; and in subsequent private practice tried many cases as a Criminal Defense lawyer, and a Personal Injury lawyer, and a Complex Litigation Lawyer and handled appeals as an Appellate lawyer.

Mr. Crupain was duly admitted to the Bars of the state of New York, the District of Columbia, the United States Supreme Court, the Federal District courts of the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the Federal District Court in Colorado, the Second Circuit Court of Appeals in New York, and the 10th circuit Court of Appeals in Denver, Colorado.
